How can I change my primary email address in Facebook on a desktop computer?
To alter your primary email address on Facebook, take these steps:
Login to Facebook:
Log in to your Facebook account with your current login (old email address and password).
Access Settings:
To access settings, click the three-dot icon as shown on the Facebook page. From the dropdown menu, choose “Profile & Tagging Settings”.
Navigate to Contact Settings:
In the left-hand column of the Settings page, select “Account Centre.” From the Account Center drop-down menu, select “Personal Details.” In the right column, personal details show.
Add New Alternative E-mail Address:
To add a new email address, navigate to the “Contact” area where your current email addresses are shown. Click “Add New Contact” and then select “Ad Mail”.
Type your Mail:
You can now input your alternate email address, and when you click confirm, you will receive a six-digit code number to confirm your alternate email address. Once you confirm, you can change the other e-mail address as your primary one.
Remove or Delete your Facebook Primary E-Mail Address
Repeat the steps outlined above until you have the contact information. Then select your primary email address, which you wish to delete.
When you choose the email, you will see the Delete email option, as seen above.
Then click delete which one you wish to delete.
